Replenishment Email Examples

Last updated: September 25, 2026

Replenishment email examples remind customers to reorder a product before it runs out, timed to how long it usually lasts. Below are replenishment and repurchase reminder emails you can adapt: timed reorder reminders, subscribe and save offers, follow-ups and product-specific examples, plus how to time them.

Pet Food Reorder Reminder

Subject: [Pet name] is almost out of food
Preview: Reorder [product name] today and it arrives by [date].
Hi [first name],

Based on your last order, [pet name]'s bag of [product name] should be nearly empty.

[Reorder Now]

Or set it up as a subscription and save [discount] on every bag.

Thanks,
[Store name]
Send a few days before the bag runs out, based on bag size and the pet details the customer shared.

How to Time a Replenishment Email

Time the first reminder a few days before the average customer runs out: take the product size, divide it by typical daily use, and check the result against how long your repeat customers actually wait between orders. Send one follow-up if there is no reorder, then stop. Skip customers who already reordered or subscribed, and hold the reminder while an order is still in transit.
