Milestone Celebration Email Examples
Last updated: September 25, 2026
These milestone celebration email examples mark the moments worth noticing in a customer relationship: the anniversary of a first order, a second, fifth or tenth purchase, a long-running subscription, and your store's own milestones. Each one is triggered by a date or an order count already in your store data, so it arrives on the right day and reads as personal rather than automated.

Subscriber Anniversary Email
Hi [first name], You joined our email list a year ago this week. Since then you have read our launches, our restock notes and probably a few more sale emails than you needed. You have not ordered yet, and that is fine. But if something is holding you back, such as sizing, price or shipping costs, reply and tell us. We read every answer. If you have simply been waiting for the right moment, here is [discount] off a first order with [discount code], valid until [date]. [Pick My First Order] Thanks for sticking around, [Store name]

[See What Is New] With thanks, [Store name]
Order Milestone Emails
Sent when a customer reaches an order count worth celebrating, such as a second, fifth or tenth order. Name the number and give something that fits their buying habits.
Second Order Thank-You
Hi [first name], Plenty of people try a store once. Coming back is different, and your second order just landed on our packing table. We wanted to say thank you properly, and to point you to a few things that go well with what you already have: [product name], [product name] and our [guide or bundle name]. No discount attached to this one. Just a note from the people who pack your orders. [See What Pairs With It] Cheers, [Store name]
Fifth Order Celebration
Hi [first name], Your order today is your fifth with us. That makes you one of our regulars, and regulars get treated like it. We have added [reward, such as store credit of a set amount] to your account. It applies automatically at your next checkout and does not expire. While we have your attention: if there is a product you wish we sold, reply and tell us. Regulars are the first people we ask. [Shop With My Credit] Thank you, [Store name]
Tenth Order Surprise Gift
Hi [first name], The order you placed today is your tenth with [Store name]. We are not going to make a big speech about it. Order Count Milestone Thanks
Hi [first name], This morning our team packed order number [number]. We stopped for a minute to take a photo, because not long ago we were celebrating order number [smaller number]. [Cast My Vote] Thanks for being one of them, [Store name]
